Can I connect multiple JBL PartyBoxes?
Yes. That can be done in two different ways. Compatible models can be coupled via the JBL app so that the sound comes from multiple directions. Even simpler is Auracast: at the push of a button you can connect up as many Auracast-compatible JBL speakers as you want, even without the app. Please note that not all models are compatible with one another.
How long does the battery last?
Battery life depends on the model in question and the volume used. With normal use, depending on the type of PartyBox, maximum playtime is 12 to 18 hours. Playtime is reduced when playing at high volume, or using an intensive lightshow or active bass boost. However, some of our models come with a replaceable battery.
Is the JBL PartyBox waterproof?
Most JBL PartyBox models have IPX4 or IPX5 splashproof design, which makes them suitable for use in the garden, out on the terrace, or in light rain. However, the speakers are not equipped to cope with sustained heavy rain or immersion in water.
Can I connect a microphone up to the PartyBox?
Yes. All JBL PartyBox models have at least one microphone connection. Depending on the model, cabled mics or the JBL wireless mic can be used. Some PartyBoxes also let you connect up a guitar and/or additional microphones, making them perfect for karaoke or short live performances. Other accessories alongside microphones include JBL’s PartyLight product range and spare batteries – for nonstop music and fun!
